Confidence, not overwhelm

Is it normal to feel worried about AI?

TideProof editorial guide · Reviewed 2026-09-14

Yes. Public research shows that many Americans have questions and concerns about AI, even while being open to practical help with everyday tasks. You do not have to feel excited about every change to learn something useful or make a thoughtful choice.

Start by naming the particular concern instead of treating AI as one enormous issue. Is it job uncertainty, privacy, confusing terminology, or not knowing where to begin? A specific question is easier to investigate, and one small answer can make the next step feel more manageable.
