Website Privacy Notice

About this notice
This notice covers the public TideProof website, its FAQ and messages you send about them. The website and FAQ are public. The customer product is still in development. Reading this website does not create a member account or agree to future member-service terms.
This website is operated by Brian Smith, Founder of TrustAgentic.ai, operating as TideProof. You can reach Brian at Hello@TideProof.net.
Visiting and searching the website
Cloudflare hosts and delivers the public site and helps protect it from abuse. Delivering a page involves processing technical information such as your IP address, the requested address, request time, browser information and connection or security information. Cloudflare and the operator may use relevant operational records to keep the website available, investigate failures and protect the service.
The FAQ search filters the answers already loaded on your device. The website does not send what you type in that search box to TideProof, an AI model or an external search service. It is not a chatbot. Opening another page still makes an ordinary website request. Do not put private information in a page address or its query string.
The current public site does not install advertising trackers, session-replay tools or behavioral-analytics scripts. Your browser may cache public pages and images and remember its own browsing history. Those browser functions are distinct from a saved TideProof account. We do not sell personal information or use public-site visits for targeted advertising.
Connection-error reporting
We retain Cloudflare's Network Error Logging to help identify failures that prevent visitors from reaching the site. Browsers that support this feature may send Cloudflare reports about failed requests, including the affected address, request and connection details, timing and error information. Cloudflare receives the network information needed to process these reports and describes its handling in its Network Error Logging documentation.
The website currently asks supporting browsers to keep the reporting instruction for seven days, refreshing it on later visits. This describes how long a browser may use the instruction, not how long reports or other records are retained. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its wider privacy practices.
If you email us
The contact link opens your email application. Nothing is sent just by selecting the link. If you choose to send a message, we receive your email address, the message, any attachments and normal delivery information. We use these to respond, handle corrections, accessibility or privacy requests, and follow up on the issue you raised. A contact message does not subscribe you to marketing.
Our contact mailbox uses Apple's iCloud Mail. The website operator and authorized support tools may handle correspondence, including AI-assisted organization or drafting of replies. Do not email passwords, sign-in codes, identification documents, full resumes or sensitive information that is not needed to explain the issue. We do not promise that email is confidential or that email and support providers retain no copies. See Apple's privacy policy.
Retention and your choices
We keep correspondence and relevant operational records for the purpose they serve, including resolving the request, reasonable follow-up, protecting the service and meeting applicable legal obligations. Different records and service providers may have different retention periods. This notice does not promise a blanket seven-day or thirty-day deletion period. Public-page caching is not a retention policy for correspondence or security records.
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern by emailing Hello@TideProof.net. Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights to access, receive a copy of, restrict or object to processing, withdraw a consent you gave, or complain to a privacy regulator. We may need proportionate verification before disclosing or deleting information. Please do not send identity documents unless a suitable method has been arranged. Legal requirements and justified security needs may limit a request; they do not create permission to keep unrelated information indefinitely.
Links, changes and the future product
When you follow a link to another service, that service handles your visit under its own practices. Email and hosting providers may process information in countries where they operate. We do not promise a particular storage region.
If the public website's practices change, we will update this notice and its date, and provide any additional notice or choices required for the change. Future member accounts and AI features need their own clear disclosures and agreement before use. They are not silently enabled by this notice.
