Working well with AI

What makes an AI-assisted result good enough to use?

TideProof editorial guide · Reviewed 2026-09-14

A useful result fits the purpose, preserves the facts, meets the relevant quality standard, and is understandable to its intended audience. Looking polished is not enough. A beautifully written explanation can still be misleading or fail to answer the real question.

Before using it, check the content against your original request and source material. Remove unsupported claims, confirm important details, and make sure the wording fits the situation. If you cannot explain or stand behind the result, identify what needs more work instead of treating the draft as finished.
