Working well with AI

Can I use AI to help with a confidential work document?

TideProof editorial guide · Reviewed 2026-09-14

Only use an approach that your organization has approved for that type of information. A tool being available on your computer does not by itself establish permission to upload confidential material. The relevant rules may depend on the document, the customer, and the system.

Ask which approved workflow applies before sharing the file. If you are only learning how summarization works, practice with a public or invented example instead. You can develop the skill without using the sensitive document, then apply it through the proper process when that is established.
