A career experiment is a limited activity designed to answer a question about a direction you are considering. It might involve trying a representative task, completing an introductory exercise, or learning more about the daily responsibilities of a role.
Define the question first. If you wonder whether you enjoy organizing information, a small practice project can be more informative than reading another motivational article. Record what you liked, what was difficult, and what the activity could not tell you. An experiment provides evidence for another step, not a complete prediction of career success.
