What if my school does not allow AI?

TideProof editorial guide · Reviewed 2026-09-14

Respect the rules for your coursework. You can still build skills that make you effective with AI later: breaking down problems, finding reliable sources, writing clearly, checking calculations, and explaining your reasoning. These abilities are valuable with or without a particular tool.

If you want to explore AI outside class, ask what kinds of independent learning are permitted and follow any applicable age or account requirements. You can also discuss examples with a teacher without submitting generated work. Learning to use technology responsibly includes knowing when not to use it.
