Start with a recurring task that is easy to describe and whose result a person can check. Organizing a general checklist, drafting a routine message, or summarizing public information may be more useful than trying to automate an entire business process.
Pick one task, name the person responsible, and define a useful result before choosing a tool. Use permitted information and keep a human review step. After a short trial, compare the total effort, including corrections, with your usual method. Expand only when the benefit is clear enough to justify it.
