Profiles and your goals

What if I remember an experience differently later?

TideProof editorial guide · Reviewed 2026-09-14

Product plans. These features and policies are still in development.

A useful explanation should be open to correction. In the planned TideProof experience, later information should help you revise your own account without silently treating an earlier guess as established fact. If two recollections conflict, the system should not invent a resolution.

Check any records you are entitled to use, distinguish what you remember from what you can confirm, and leave the remaining uncertainty clear. Update other versions of the story when their claims depend on the correction. Customer profile controls are still in development, but you can follow the same habit in your own notes now: keep the explanation accurate as your understanding improves.
